Created from a vision, built on determination and quality, Oakville Conference Center has grown from a humble bakery and delicatessen that began in 1978 as Carmen’s, to a five star multi-talented catering corporation, diversified to accommodate a wide range of corporate and social needs.
Since the beginning, the Oakville Conference Centre has received numerous awards for innovative professional event production in the catering and hospitality industry. The Mercanti’s work as a team with committed, experienced professionals who have been cross trained to provide the best in service, food and decor to ensure a successful and memorable occasion.
The team takes great pride in the special events that we have had the pleasure of hosting. Some of our more notable events were for such persons as: Prime Minister Jean Chretien, President Bill Clinton, the Rolling Stones, and the Toronto Blue Jays.
